Tortillas

Ingredients

4 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup warm water
1/2 cup olive oil






1. Combine flour and salt in a medium bowl.

2. Pour in olive oil. Cut in with a pastry cutter or knife until mixture resembles bread crumbs.

3. Pour in water. Mix until the dough forms a ball.

4. Split into golf ball-sized balls.

5. Cover bowl with a damp towel until they are to be cooked.

6. Heat a large griddle.

7. Roll out tortillas on a large, floured cutting board.

8. Cook each tortilla on each side until light brown spots appear. When a tortilla is done, place it in aluminum foil.

9. Serve tortillas with whatever you want! I like mine with green chile stew. See recipe here.
